Dinner is Wednesday, July 12 in the Christian Life Center – Food will be served at 6:00 pm.
Back to School Supplies Needed
For the month of July, our church will collect the following school supplies for neighboring school systems who have a need: crayons, washable markers, packages of wide ruled paper, and #2 pencils. Please drop off your donations no later than Monday, July 31 at the Welcome Center or the Fellowship Hall in the bins marked for this collection. Thank you for your help!
New Small Group Study, 'Everyday Theology'
On Wednesday, July 12th, we launch this 8-week study facilitated by Dr. Steve Strange. In tandem with this church wide small group, the SWAG group will present 'Everyday Theology for Teens”. We will have food and fellowship from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm each Wednesday night. This adult Bible study will begin at 6:30 pm and the location will be determined. The cost of the book is $20. Signup sheets are available in the Transept & Welcome Center. If you have any questions about the adult study, please see Pastor Steve. Questions about the SWAG study should be directed to Molly Hatcher or Carolyn Matthews.
TMM Vegetable Dinner & Small Group Study Kickoff
Join us on Wednesday, July 12 as we kick off our first church-wide small groups, along with a delicious Vegetable Dinner fundraiser meal at 6 pm from our Trussville Methodist Men. If you have not had this meal before, you are in for a treat! We’re launching our “Life’s Healing Choices” study—the lesson overview is 5:30-6:30, then break into smaller groups from 6:30-7:30. The small group study will be led by Rev. Bob Murray and Rev. Shan Odom. If you haven’t signed up yet, stop by the Transept or Welcome Center and add your name to the list.

Discipleship Bible Study

Children's Ministry
As we continue to grow and expand the Children's Ministry, we are in need of volunteers. There are many opportunities for you to serve! If you have a heart for working with children and want to make a positive impact on their lives, please contact Megan at kidsministry@trussvillefirst.com. TMM Monthly Meeting
The Trussville Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. The special guest speaker will be Richard Searson, former Music Minister of Trussville First. Please notify Allen Hatcher by phone or text at (205) 773-9591 if you will be attending the meeting.
Community Food Bank
The Mission Team volunteers this month at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama from 9:00 to 11:30 am on Thursday, July 20, 2023. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, please call Charlene Sharp at 205-835-2691 or email at csharp@bellsouth.net to register.
