Flowers for the Cross on Easter Sunday - Everyone is invited to bring fresh flowers and greenery to decorate the large front lawn cross on Easter Sunday morning. For those who wish to bring flowers to decorate the Grace Vision cross inside in the Christian Life Center, we plan to decorate it on Saturday morning, March 30th at 10 am. Flowers may be left in the Welcome Center if you are unable to help decorate. Many folks use these crosses for a background for family pictures. Please help us to continue this special tradition.

- The Trussville Methodist Men's Annual Catfish Fry Fundraiser will take place on Wednesday night, April 3 at 5:30 pm in the Christian Life Center. Tickets are available: $13 for adults and $6 for children under 10. They need to know how many plan to attend, so they know how much to prepare. If you plan to attend, but haven’t yet purchased your ticket, please contact Allen Hatcher at 205-773-9591.
- The Women's Ministry Spring Mission is to fulfill the needs of those who are aging out of foster and group homes and entering the Higher Ed program of Embrace. We plan to fill 15 laundry baskets with all the necessities @ $150/basket. We’re asking that you (or your class/group) give whatever you are called to give, to purchase these supplies. Any amount is appreciated. The deadline for donations is April 28th. Be sure to put 'embrace baskets' on the "for" line of your check.
Church Directory pictures are scheduled for Monday, April 15th - Saturday, April 20th.

- We need greeters during photography week! We appreciate those who have signed up so far. There are still slots available. We need two people per two-hour time slots. Please consider helping out! You can sign up for one or more slots.

- Thank you for contributing to our annual Naomi Girls’ service project! Many of you have responded and Hope Lodge has received $540 in donations reported as of March 15. Our Birmingham Hope Lodge provides a caring and supportive lodging place for those who are undergoing cancer treatment from out of town-40 miles or more. Since there are a number of Hope Lodges across the country, please make your checks payable to the American Cancer Society with “restricted to Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge/Naomi Girls Project” on the memo line, so that your name will show up on the donor list. All checks should be mailed to: Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, Attention: Tonya Zapata, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205. Envelopes (with this information inside) are available in the Transept and Welcome Center. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
- The April Naomi Girls’ luncheon meeting will take place on Friday, April 19th at 11:30 am at Costa’s Mediterranean Café, 5891 Trussville Crossings Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Please let Linda Shaddix know if you will be able to attend.
- Technical support needed. If you enjoy working with computers, camera or sound systems, please contact Dan Shirah. We are in need of volunteers to help on Sundays (and sometimes special functions) with the technical support of the services. Your time investment would involve approximately one Sunday per month at this time after training.
- The Trussville Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. Special guest speaker is Laurie Franklin, Founder/Owner of Birmingham Christian Family Magazine and BirminghamChristian.com. Notify Allen Hatcher by phone or text at (205) 773-9591 if you will be attending the meeting.
- The Mission Team volunteers this month at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama from 9:00 to 11:30 am on April 18, 2024. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, please call Charlene Sharp at 205-835-2691 or email at csharp@bellsouth.net to register.
