Flowers for the Cross on Easter Sunday - Everyone is invited to bring fresh flowers and greenery to decorate the large exterior cross on Easter Sunday.  Many folks use this for a background for pictures.  Please join in this special tradition.

- March 24-Palm Sunday
- Noon Holy Week Services Mon., March 25-Fri., March 29 in the Sanctuary with different Churches each day, followed by lunch in the Christian Life Center. Different denominations from the area come together each year and participate in the noon service and provide lunch. Donations accepted for TEAM
- March 28-Maundy Thursday: 2024 Seder Meal Experience (More information below)
- March 29-Good Friday Service-6 pm Sanctuary
- March 31 Easter Services-7 am Sunrise Service-Gardens (CLC if inclement weather)
8:30 & 11:00 am Traditional Services-Sanctuary
11:00 am Grace Vision Contemporary Service-Christian Life Center

Important Note: If you have a Senior, please let Phillip know so that they can be included in Senior Sunday. We want to honor all our graduates on Sunday, May 19.  Please contact Phillip as soon as possible so that we can get all the information needed: phillip@trussvillefirst.com


- The Trussville Methodist Men's Annual Catfish Fry Fundraiser will take place on Wednesday night, April 3 in the Christian Life Center. Tickets are available: $13 for adults and $6 for children under 10. See one of the Methodist Men or contact Allen Hatcher to purchase your tickets.

- The Women's Ministry Spring Mission is to fulfill the needs of those who are aging out of foster and group homes and entering the Higher Ed program of Embrace. We plan to fill 15 laundry baskets with all the necessities @ $150/basket. We’re asking that you (or your class/group) give whatever you are called to give, to purchase these supplies. Any amount is appreciated. The deadline for donations is April 28th. Be sure to put 'embrace baskets' on the "for" line of your check.

- Join us for a very special event! The Seder Meal Experience will take place on Maundy Thursday, March 28.
We have two times set up for this event.
4:00 p.m. - For individuals or families without children who are 6th grade or 12 years old and older.
6:00 p.m. - For families with children who are 5th grade or 11 years old and younger.
Children 5th grade or 11 years old and younger will participate in a Seder Meal with our Children’s Ministry Team. Seating is limited for both events. Tickets $7 per participant. Call the church office at 205-655-3259 to reserve your spot.

ONLINE SCHEDULING OPEN! Church Directory pictures are scheduled for Monday, April 15th - Saturday, April 20th.
- Schedule ASAP at this link to ensure your preferred date & time! If you have five or more members in your family, please schedule 2 consecutive time slots.
- The church office (205-655-3259) is available for scheduling assistance Mondays-Thursdays from 9 to 11 am and Sunday mornings, during the Sunday School hour (9:45 - 10:45 am).
- We need greeters during photography week! 2 people per 2 hour shifts each day. Please consider volunteering. You can choose your dates here.
- If you have not updated your church member information, please do so as soon as possible as to ensure accuracy for the directory.

- Thank you for contributing to our annual Naomi Girls’ service project!  Many of you have responded and Hope Lodge has received $540 in donations reported as of March 15.  Our Birmingham Hope Lodge provides a caring and supportive lodging place for those who are undergoing cancer treatment from out of town-40 miles or more.  Since there are a number of Hope Lodges across the country, please make your checks payable to the American Cancer Society with “restricted to Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge/Naomi Girls Project” on the memo line, so that your name will show up on the donor list. All checks should be mailed to: Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, Attention: Tonya Zapata, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205.  Envelopes (with this information inside) are available in the Transept and Welcome Center.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated. 

- The April Naomi Girls’ luncheon meeting will take place on Friday, April 19th at 11:30 am at Costa’s Mediterranean Café, 5891 Trussville Crossings Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35235.  Please let Linda Shaddix know if you will be able to attend.

- Technical support needed. If you enjoy working with computers, camera or sound systems, please contact Dan Shirah. We are in need of volunteers to help on Sundays (and sometimes special functions) with the technical support of the services. Your time investment would involve approximately one Sunday per month at this time after training.

- The Trussville Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. Special guest speaker is Laurie Franklin, Founder/Owner of Birmingham Christian Family Magazine and BirminghamChristian.com. Notify Allen Hatcher by phone or text at (205) 773-9591 if you will be attending the meeting.

- The Mission Team volunteers this month at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama from 9:00 to 11:30 am on April 18, 2024. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, please call Charlene Sharp at 205-835-2691 or email at csharp@bellsouth.net to register.
