Christmas Eve Services
Our traditional services for Christmas Eve will be in the Sanctuary at noon and also at 6:30 PM. Our Grace Vision contemporary service will be at 5 PM in the Christian Life Center.
White Christmas Offering
Once again, we will have a White Christmas Offering on Christmas Eve in each of our services. All offerings given on Christmas Eve will go to the United Methodist Children's Home (Embrace), unless otherwise specified. Thank you for your continued generosity!
Christmas Day & New Year’s Day Services
On Sunday, December 25, 2022 and January 1, 2023, we will have a Traditional service in the Sanctuary and a Grace Vision service in the CLC. Both will be at 9 AM.
Year-End Contributions
The deadline to drop off year-end contributions is 12:00 noon on Friday, December 30th. Please feel free to leave them in the drop box at the front door. Thank you for your support.
RightNow Media
We appreciate you for being faithful users of RightNow Media. However, we have chosen not to renew our subscription in 2023. If you are currently viewing content or engaged in a bible study through RightNow Media, you still have access until January 1, 2023. Thank you for your understanding.
Ciudad Medical Mission
The Annual Medical Mission to Ciudad Victoria, Mexico with Mega Missions is scheduled for February 15-22, 2023. The cost will be around $650. We already have four commitments from our church, If you have an interest in going on this trip, please contact Dan Shirah or Johnny Evans (205) 446-0658 as soon as possible. Those already signed up are Dan & Freda Shirah, Ann Walls, and Lois Duran. Johnny will get a final count and let everyone know when the money is due, after Christmas holidays.
Kids First Needs Volunteers
Kids First Day School is in need of volunteers who can assist teachers during the lunch period. If you can volunteer any day of the week from 11:00 am - 1 pm, please email Amy Gulledge at amy@fumctrussville.com or call Kids First at 205-655-0583. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Handbell Ministry Needs Ringers
There is a place for you in the Handbell Ministry. Join us in the New Year & become one of the ringers. 2023 will be a great time to give ringing a try!
Children’s Ministry

UMM Monthly Meeting
The United Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, January 8, 2022. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. This month's special guest speaker will be our own Lee Neal who will make a presentation on the October 2022 Mission Trip to Uganda. Please join us for breakfast provided by the New Horizon Sunday School Class and this outstanding talk. As always, children and wives are welcome at meetings. Community Food Bank
The Mission Team volunteers this month at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama from 9:00 to 11:30 am on Thursday, January 19, 2023. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, please call Charlene Sharp at 205-835-2691 or email at csharp@bellsouth.net to register.

Organ Fundraiser Update
Our new organ has been installed! We are still in need of donations to help with the cost. Our goal is $94,000. Thanks to generous donors, we have raised over $28,000. If you would like to make a donation, please select the organ option online or write “Organ Fundraiser” on the memo of your check. All gifts are greatly appreciated.
