Trussville Community Chorus
Please make plans to attend the Trussville Community Chorus Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18th in the Sanctuary at 5 pm. Everyone is invited!
New Year’s Day Services
On Sunday, January 1, 2023, we will have a Traditional service in the Sanctuary and a Grace Vision service in the CLC. Both will be at 9 AM. (More Advent events are at the bottom of this page)
Year-End Contributions
The deadline to drop off year-end contributions is 12:00 noon on Friday, December 30th. Please feel free to leave them in the drop box at the front door. Thank you for your support.

Ciudad Medical Mission
The Annual Medical Mission to Ciudad Victoria, Mexico with Mega Missions is scheduled for February 15-22, 2023. The cost will be around $650. We already have four commitments from our church, If you have an interest in going on this trip, please contact Dan Shirah or Johnny Evans (205) 446-0658 as soon as possible. Those already signed up are Dan & Freda Shirah, Ann Walls, and Lois Duran. Johnny will get a final count and let everyone know when the money is due, after Christmas holidays.
Kids First Needs Volunteers
Kids First Day School is in need of volunteers who can assist teachers during the lunch period. If you can volunteer any day of the week from 11:00 am - 1 pm, please email Amy Gulledge at amy@fumctrussville.com or call Kids First at 205-655-0583. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Handbell Ministry Needs Ringers
-Thursday, Dec. 15 Jubilant Ringers rang at St. Vincent’s East at noon in front of the tree in the Atrium. They will also ring at Fairhaven in the Chapel at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome!
-Dec. 19 All handbell choirs are ringing during the Live Nativity. 5-7 PM on the front lawn.
There is a place for you in the Handbell Ministry. Join us in the New Year & become one of the ringers. 2023 will be a great time to give ringing a try!
Children’s Ministry
Some of you may feel called to help teach our sweet kids! You can sign up as a permanent, monthly or weekly volunteer, or just help out as a substitute. You can contact Barber Clark at - kidsministry@fumctrussville.com
UMM Monthly Meeting
The United Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, January 8, 2022. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. This month's special guest speaker will be our own Lee Neal who will make a presentation on the October 2022 Mission Trip to Uganda. Please join us for breakfast provided by the New Horizon Sunday School Class and this outstanding talk. As always, children and wives are welcome at meetings. Community Food Bank

Organ Fundraiser Update
Our new organ has been installed! We are still in need of donations to help with the cost. Our goal is $94,000. Thanks to generous donors, we have raised over $28,000.
