July Golf Outing
This month, we're going to Oak Mountain State Park golf course on Saturday, July 31. Meet at the church at 6:45 am to ride the bus or meet us at the course at 7:45. Tee times start at 8 am. Cost is $49 per player. When signing up, please include everyone you're bringing with you. Sign-up by July 25th using the sign-up sheets in the welcome center and transept or REGISTER HERE
July Leisure Group
The Leisure Group will be going to Anniston on July 20. We'll have lunch at Classic on Noble and tour the Berman History Museum. We will leave the church at 9:30 that morning. There are sign-up sheets in the Welcome Center and Transept. Classic menus are on the sign-up sheets. They will also be passed around the Sunday school classes over the coming weeks. Please sign-up by July 14 so we can make a reservation at Classic. Museum tickets are $12, $10 for seniors. Contact Adam McNeil with questions or to sign-up (adam@fumctrussville.com).
Naomi Girls Luncheon

It’s time to return to good food and fellowship since COVID. The Naomi Girls are widows from Trussville First United Methodist Church. If you are a widow and don’t belong to the group, please consider being a part of us. We go to lunch once a month and at this time we get to know each other better. Children’s Ministry Coming Events
-Tween Retreat
We will have a one-day tween (4-6th grade) retreat coming up on August 21 from 9-3 pm. There will be guest speakers, a mission project, and a lot of fun. Our theme is “Be” and we’ll learn how to be rooted, be in pursuit, and be bold for God.

-Back to school bash-August 8. 5-7 at the Trussville Mall. We will have food trucks, live music, inflatables, popsicles, and giveaways.
Urban Ministry Mission
TFUMC will be participating in a special mission opportunity for Urban Ministry July 26-30, 2021. We will leave from the church each morning at 8:30 and return at 4:00. The cost for Students is $50 and $100 for adults. Lunch will be provided. If you cannot make it every day you can still participate. Sign up is open now at https://fumctrussville.com/urban-ministries

Worship Tech Ministry Opportunities
The Worship Tech Team is currently looking for volunteers to assist in running the computer for the screens, the Sling for livestreaming and the soundboard. You will be taught everything you need to know and it is a great way to help in the production of our weekly services.
