- New Women's Bible Study: “Kingdom Politics - Government from God's Perspective" by Tony Evans.
In an increasingly polarized political climate, how can Christians participate in civil government in a way that brings honor to God? This will NOT be a Democrat vs Republican debate, but a Me and God reflection. If you are interested in learning about government from God's perspective, please join us for this six-session study. Starting May 29th at 9 am.

- We are still in need of funds to complete the window treatments in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you to all who have worked so hard to make this update of our Fellowship Hall possible. If you would like to make a personal donation or appeal to your group, thank you for your consideration. Checks should be marked with “Fellowship Hall” on the memo line.
- All the Naomi Girls are very thankful for everyone who has supported our local Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge here in Birmingham. Your support touches lives in a meaningful way at a difficult time. To date, the Naomi Girls’ service project has resulted in a total of $765 in donations given directly to the Birmingham Hope Lodge. Our Birmingham Hope Lodge provides a caring and supportive lodging place for those who are undergoing cancer treatment from out of town-40 miles or more. Since there are a number of Hope Lodges across the country, please make your checks payable to the American Cancer Society with “restricted to Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge/Naomi Girls Project” on the memo line, so that your name will show up on the donor list. All checks should be mailed to: Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, Attention: Tonya Zapata, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205. Envelopes (with this information inside) are available in the Transept and Welcome Center. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
- The Trussville Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting.
