Your Place in Ministry - April 11th

Returning to Second Sanctuary Service
Starting Sunday, April 11th, we will return to two Sanctuary worship services. In addition to the 9 AM service, there will also be an 11 am service to coincide with our 11 am Grace Vision service. All these services can also be streamed online. The streaming links can be found here.

Scheduling Church Events/Meetings
As we reopen, spaces are being utilized throughout the church by different groups. So, to ensure that your event or meeting is reserved and placed on the calendar, please be sure to contact the church office as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

Financial Donations for Ohatchee
On March 25, 2021 Ohatchee was hit by an EF2 tornado which devastated the community and resulted in the loss of 5 lives. Ragan Chapel United Methodist Church, which stood as a cornerstone of the community for 140 years was destroyed. In all our services this Easter Sunday, we will accept donations to help Ragan Chapel rebuild. If you are donating by check, please make the check payable to TFUMC and put “Ragan Chapel” in the memo line. Cash donations should be placed in an envelope and marked “Ragan Chapel” on the front. Thank you for your support. If you would like to give online, you can here and selecting Ragan Chapel UMC from the dropdown under FUND.

Women's Togetherness Breakfast
THIS Saturday, April 10th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. More information here.
RSVP by calling the church office or email Barber Clark or Mary Morton. Childcare available upon request.

Scam Alert
As email scams have become more numerous lately, TFUMC wants to make everyone aware that the church, or any of our pastors, will NEVER text or email you asking for assistance with gift cards. Please delete these types of requests. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church office.

Worship Tech Ministry Opportunities
The Worship Tech Team is currently looking for volunteers to assist in running the computer for the screens, the Sling for livestreaming and the soundboard. You will be taught everything you need to know and it is a great way to help in the production of our weekly services. If you're interested in joining our team, please contact Dan Shirah or the church office.

Stephen Ministry
During these uncertain times (financial stress, health concerns, loss of loved ones), you may find you need someone to talk to. A Stephen Minister is a congregation member who walks beside someone who is hurting due to a death, divorce, illness, family issues, etc. The Stephen Minister has been carefully selected and trained to serve in this role because of his or her caregiving gifts. He or she listens, cares, prays, supports, and encourages when meeting each week with his or her care receiver for as long as there is a need. These meetings may take place in person, by video or by phone. If you could benefit from the confidential, one-to-one care and support of a Stephen Minister or would like to obtain more information, please contact Martha Cusimano at 205-601-9124 or mmcusimano@centurytel.net.
