Lovelady Center Easter Baskets
Our church is providing Easter Baskets to the Lovelady Center for 124 children this year. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We still need 44 more baskets, so please contact the church office at 205-655-3259 to sign up. We have a list of ages and gender from infants through 13 years of age. Thank you for your generosity in helping to meet this need. We are asking that the baskets be here no later than April 3rd so they can be picked up and delivered. They are also still in need of donations of toilet paper.

Consignment Sale Dollar Dash
TEAM Dollar Dash in the Fellowship Hall is Saturday, March 18, 4-6pm and Sunday, March 19, 2-4 pm. Everything is $1. CASH ONLY. Due to limited space NO strollers or children are allowed. Thank you for your continued support of the sale!

Children’s Ministry:
-Our Children’s Ministry is growing! Beginning 4/2, we will be dividing our Elementary and smaller children into two groups. Ages 3-5 will be in one class, while our older “Elementary” children will be in another. Elementary will be upstairs and the smaller children will be downstairs next to the Nursery in the Children/Youth (Kids First) building. Please sign your child in when you leave them in our care and sign them out when you pick them up. If you are not picking up your child, please let us know who will be picking them up.

-We still need volunteers! We all want a great Children’s program, but we depend on volunteers to accomplish what one person cannot do. There are so many opportunities to help. Listing just a few-Wednesday nights...volunteers help with the lessons, feeding the kids (maybe your small group could provide a meal?), as well as arts and crafts projects. Sunday morning-we always need volunteers to help teach our kids (volunteer permanently, once in while, a month at a time-you name it!) If you are interested, please contact the church office at 205-655-3259 for more information. Must be at least 18 years of age and complete Safe Sanctuary Training and a background check.

Naomi Girls Project
Solar Box Kits and Repair Water Wells
The Naomi Girls will be making solar boxes from kits to charge cell phones where there isn't electricity. Each solar kit will cost $100. We will begin to assemble the kits when we can pay for 10 kits. The repair of the water wells is $1,500 each. We will continue to work with the nonprofit, Designs For Hope, with Chris Bond with our project. The Naomi Girls would like to invite the Trussville First UMC family to help make these projects possible. If you would like to help with donations, please write your check to TFUMC for Naomi Girls and either solar boxes or repair wells. We need prayers for this project so that includes all ages can help. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Shaddix.

UMM Monthly Meeting
The United Methodist Men will conduct their next monthly meeting on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the meeting. The speaker for this meeting is Cindy Patsios whose presentation will address her completion of the Camino deSantiago, a 500 mile pilgrimage across northern Spain. A big accomplishment for a retiree who is married to retired pastor, Rich Patsios. Together they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. As always, children and wives are welcome at meetings. Please notify Allen Hatcher by phone or text at (205) 773-9591 if you will be attending the meeting.

Community Food Bank
The Mission Team volunteers this month at the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama from 9:00 to 11:30 am on Thursday, April 20, 2023. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, please call Charlene Sharp at 205-835-2691 or email at csharp@bellsouth.net to register.
