Your Place in Ministry - February 7th

Traditional Service Time Change
Starting March 7th, our Traditional Worship Service time will be changed to 9:00 AM. Please mark your calendars for this important change. Thank you!

Scam Alert
As email scams have become more numerous lately, TFUMC wants to make everyone aware that the church, or any of our pastors, will NEVER text or email you asking for assistance with gift cards. Please delete these types of requests. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the church office.

Valentines Needed
We are making "homemade" Valentines to send to Trussville Rehab. If you would like to help, please drop your homemade Valentines at the church before February 10th. There will be a box inside the front doors (by the Fellowship Hall) marked "Valentines". Thank you for your help with this project. NO FOOD OR CANDY PLEASE - ONLY CARDS.

Ash Wednesday Drive-Thru Service
Wednesday, February 17th at the following times: 7:00 - 8:00 am, 11:00 - noon and 6:00 - 7:00 pm. More details to follow through announcements and emails.

Easter Ferns for Missions
We have great news! Rainbow Omega has agreed to supply a very limited number of their beautiful 10-inch potted ferns this year, once again for $20. As in the past, the sale of these ferns supports both our mission projects and Rainbow Omega. For those of you who purchased ferns last year and were unable to receive them due to COVID, we have held the money and your order form and will fulfill your orders first. All other orders will be on a first-come/first-serve basis. Order forms are available in the Transept, Welcome Center and the Church Office and payment will need to be attached to the order form. You can leave the order in the locking mailbox, or the church office door mail slot. We ask that you pick up your fern after the services on Easter Sunday (9:30 Traditional and 11:00 Grace Vision.) Since the supply is so limited – we will label the ferns so that there is no confusion as to who is picking them up. Thank you for your support.

Worship Tech Ministry Opportunities
The Worship Tech Team is currently looking for volunteers to assist in running the computer for the screens, the Sling for livestreaming and the soundboard. You will be taught everything you need to know and it is a great way to help in the production of our weekly services. If you're interested in joining our team, please contact Dan Shirah or the church office.

Stephen Ministry
During these uncertain times (financial stress, health concerns, loss of loved ones), you may find you need someone to talk to. A Stephen Minister is a congregation member who walks beside someone who is hurting due to a death, divorce, illness, family issues, etc. The Stephen Minister has been carefully selected and trained to serve in this role because of his or her caregiving gifts. He or she listens, cares, prays, supports, and encourages when meeting each week with his or her care receiver for as long as there is a need. These meetings may take place in person, by video or by phone. If you could benefit from the confidential, one-to-one care and support of a Stephen Minister or would like to obtain more information, please contact Martha Cusimano at 205-601-9124 or mmcusimano@centurytel.net.
