Please support missions by ordering one in honor of or in memory of someone special to you. Our ferns are grown by Rainbow Omega, a residential home to 79 adults ranging in age from 18 – 79 years old, with developmental disabilities. Rainbow Omega means “hope in the end”. - The Naomi Girls invite you to participate in our 2024 service project.  We are sending donations directly to the Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge in Birmingham.  The Hope Lodge provides a caring supportive environment and lodging for a cancer patient and their caregiver at no charge.  It is available for those undergoing active cancer treatment who live 40 miles or more from Birmingham.  They provide 33 hotel style rooms, which are set up with cancer patients in mind.  You can go online and see more information or you can ask our church secretary. Since there are a number of Hope Lodges across the country, please make your checks payable to the American Cancer Society with “restricted to Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge” on the memo line.  Also please write somewhere above the memo line on the check, (or attach a note to it) that says “Naomi Girls Project” so that your name will show up on the donor list. All checks should be mailed to: Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, Attention: Tonya Zapata, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205.  Envelopes will be available in the Transept, Welcome Center, and church office.  Thank you.

- Celebrate Recovery is excited to announce that our Casserole Cookoff will take place on February 20! There are three categories including breakfast casserole, dinner casserole, and dessert casserole. Get those recipes ready and bring your appetite for a great time of food and fellowship! The winners will receive a custom casserole carrier to show off at your next potluck! Please let me know if you intend to enter your favorite recipe. You can email Pastor Shan at shan@trussvillefirst.com or pastor.shankay@gmail.com. Just let her know which category you want to enter, and she will add your name! All casseroles need to be ready to judge by 5:30 on the 20th of February.
