ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
First Methodist Trussville established Kids First Day School as a church ministry that seeks to serve the community in the spirit of Christ. The operation of this center is subject to all Church policies and the supervision of the Church. In accordance with state family care licensing regulations, childcare services are available without discrimination on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.
This ministry is an integral part of Trussville First’s total program. Our Christian staff has a deep concern for the total development of each child and for the well-being of the family of each child. Well-trained and dedicated teachers, enthusiastic and cooperative parents, and the committed support of the Trussville First are necessary ingredients for our outstanding program.

SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM INFORMATION
Our School Age Program was designed to enhance your child’s educational, physical, social and spiritual growth through structured activities. We incorporate reading, crafts, cooking, Bible lessons, games and other fun activities to encourage leadership and team-building skills. We also allow time for homework.
Kids First offers After School care for K5 through 5th grade children zoned in the Trussville City School District. Bus/Van pickup is offered at Paine, Magnolia and Cahaba Elementary Schools. Holiday care is also available for enrolled children.
Our School Age Summer Program is a separate registration that begins in April. We accept finishing K5 through 5th grade children from all area locations to enjoy field trips and activities that incorporate all aspects of fun
