New This Week ————-
The Women's Ministry is hosting a Women's Game Day on Sunday, July 27 from 2-4 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Women of all ages are invited to come and enjoy an afternoon of board and card games. This is a wonderful opportunity for the women of FMCT to meet with old friends and make new ones. Snacks will be provided and we will be collecting a love offering for Sleep In Heavenly Peace.
On July 13th we will have one Service at 11:00 am in the CLC with a Potluck Lunch immediately following.
Make plans to join us July 23 for Dinner served by the Kenya Mission Trip attendees. They will be serving dinner with a presentation immediately following.
Wednesday Night Dinners will start back on August 13th. If you would like to sign up to do a Fundraiser one Wednesday, please let Kathryn know. She can be reached by calling the office at 205-655-3259, or via email kathryn@trussvillefirst.com

FMCT VBS is BACK! Join us July 7th-11th from 5:30-8:00 p.m. for a week full of fun, fellowship, creativity, and a deep dive into the Word of God! Registration is LIVE on the website so check the links below to register your child(ren) and don't forget to sign yourself up to volunteer in any area you feel called!! Dinner will be served each night at 5:00 pm for volunteers and their families.

The Birmingham Community Concert Band, conducted by Alan Brooks will present a Summer Patriotic Concert on Sunday, June 29 at 3 pm in the CLC. They will perform patriotic songs and marches and will feature their first Clarinetist, Arthur Deagon, in Clarinet on the Town. www.Bhmbands.com
Student Ministry Beach Retreat– July 17th-21st ...Thursday-Monday! We will be headed to Laguna Beach Christian Retreat and we are super excited about it! Please encourage not just your student, but also their friends as well, to attend! This trip will take place July17th-21st and will be $250/person. This covers their transportation, lodging, food, go-karts, and materials to make this trip happen. We will have daily lessons, competitions, worship times, small groups, and lots of free time to ensure your student gets the best experience from this trip. We eat pizza, gourmet burgers, have a shrimp boil, ride go-karts, play volleyball, and many other activities! We have 45 spots reserved for this trip and would love to fill all of them with not only our students, but some of their friends as well! To secure your spot for either Student Ministry trip, contact Phillip McEvoy at phillip@trussvillefirst.com
The next Trussville Methodist Men’s Breakfast will take place on August 10, 2025, at 7 am in the Fellowship Hall.
The Mission Team’s June outing to the Food Bank will be on Thursday, June 26th due to the Juneteenth Holiday. They will also be volunteering Thursday, July 17th and Thursday August 21st. They will meet at the church at 8:00, leave at 8:15, work from 9:00-11:30. If you have any questions, call Charlene Sharp at 205 835-2691.
