- New Ladies Bible Study, facilitated by Barber Clark-The Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler. Please consider joining me for this six-session study, beginning Thursday, May 15th at 10:00 am. We will explore the gospel in its specificity and its fullness! Please contact the church office to sign up or email me for questions at barberclark905@gmail.com. I can order your book for you, or you may prefer to order it yourself.
- Student Ministry Mission Trip, Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) June 15th-21st! We will leave on a Sunday morning and come back Saturday around lunch! This place does a great job adding the camp style feel to a week long service time. We will wake up and eat breakfast, have a morning devotion, go to our job sight, have a mid-morning devotion led by a group leader during lunch, come back to camp to change, eat dinner, have praise/worship/lesson, before heading to free time. This is a week where your student will be split up into different YRG’s (Youth Renewal Groups). Each YRG will have two 1 day projects, one 2 day project, and a half day project they will complete during the week. The standing cost is $200/person and we will have a few fundraisers to help offset that cost further! We have registered for 14 spots, half are already spoken for.
- Student Ministry Beach Retreat– July 17th-21st ...Thursday-Monday! We will be headed to Laguna Beach Christian Retreat and we are super excited about it! Please encourage not just your student, but also their friends as well, to attend! This trip will take place July17th-21st and will be $250/person. This covers their transportation, lodging, food, go-karts, and materials to make this trip happen. We will have daily lessons, competitions, worship times, small groups, and lots of free time to ensure your student gets the best experience from this trip. We eat pizza, gourmet burgers, have a shrimp boil, ride go-karts, play volleyball, and many other activities! We have 45 spots reserved for this trip and would love to fill all of them with not only our students, but some of their friends as well! - You are invited to the 11:00 am Bible Study in the Sanctuary. We have an open discussion of the Bible, chapter by chapter and are currently in Galatians. Led by Rev. Shan Odom and Matthew Pearson.
- The next Trussville Methodist Men’s Breakfast will take place on June 8, 2025, at 7 am in the Fellowship Hall. The speaker will be Mr. Aaron King, Principal of Hewitt Trussville High School. Wives and children are always welcome.
- The Mission Team will meet at the church at 8:00 am and take our church bus to go volunteer at the downtown Community Food Bank on following dates: Thursday, May 15. We work at the food bank from 9:00 - 11:30 am. We welcome ALL who wish to help! If you would like to join the team, call Charlene Sharp 205-835-2691 or email csharp@bellsouth.net to register.
